Our delicious and nutritious centre menu is designed by our centre Cook in-line with the Children and Adolescent Nutrition Guidelines of Australia. Our meals are prepared in our centre kitchen from fresh and local ingredients, and children enjoy breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a little late snack.
Nutrition plays an important role in the development and growth of children. At Early Learning Centre Rose Grange, we aim to to provide children with a nutritious and balanced diet, whilst educating them on the importance of nurturing their body with healthy food. It is our aim to educate children to ensure that have the skills and knowledge required to develop life-long healthy eating habits.
Our centre Cook caters for all dietary requirements. This includes age appropriate meals, and cultural and dietary food requirements. We work in partnership with our families to ensure our menus cater to each child’s individual needs at all times.
For our younger babies, we ask families to provide breast milk or formula. If your child has transitioned on to milk, the centre will provide this for you.
At Early Learning Centre Rose Grange we have long standing educators who we value as professionals within our industry. Our Educators all hold either a Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor qualification.
Our educational curriculum has been carefully designed to cater for each individual child’s strengths and interests. Our curriculum is centred on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and the Early Childhood Developmental Domains. We foster children’s physical, cognitive, social, spiritual and emotional development through the goals we set and experiences we provide.
Our Kindergarten teacher has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education. Our Kindergarten Teacher adopts a play based curriculum approach with intentional teaching strategies to prepare the children for the following year of formalised schooling.
